︎︎︎PROJECTIONS AND MOTION DESIGN

“Interconnected”

“Interconnected” is embodying the hypnothism of the spherical form in a dynamic and minimal context. The projection was created in TouchDesigner and showcased on a hanging handmade screen as part of the UAL Illustration Degree Show.

”Metamorphosis”

"Metamorphosis" is a TouchDesigner motion animation, based on the swirling colors we see before falling asleep. The piece holds a gloomy atmosphere, accompanied by calming ambient music.

”My headphones”

"My Headphones" is a model made in Blender 3D, taking inspiration from the “Razer Kraken Kitty” gaming headset and my deep passion for the Sanrio universe. Following the modeling process, I applied an ASCII filter, creating the distinctive final appearance.

”Dead for a while”

“Dead For A While” is a model made in Blender 3D, representing two dried out flowers with eyes and a heart charm. The soundtrack was made by Cristian Martoiu, an UAL Camberwell Alumni in Fine Art. Following the modeling process, I applied an ASCII filter, creating the distinctive final appearance.

“Cellular Motion”

“Cellular Motion” is an installation based on the maintenance of multicellular organisms, constantly shifting in response to specific external signals. As this was my first ever TouchDesigner installation, it was completely created from tutorials by Elekktronaut and many other How-To forums to make it audio reactive and get it mapped out on an extruded circular wood board. The soundtrack was made by Cristian Martoiu, an UAL Camberwell Alumni in Fine Art.

︎︎︎DESIGN

Personal Business Card

I designed my own business card using a combination of Canva and Adobe Illustrator. Incorporating my preferred colors, purple and green, I aimed to uphold a playful and straightforward appearance.

Map Design “Pantelimon”

I made this piece as practice after being asked to design a map for a small hotel called "The Saxon House" in Garbova, Romania. I used my own preferences for it and my familiarity with the Pantelimon area where I grew up. Work created in Inkscape.

︎︎︎ILLUSTRATIONS

“Pity Pets”

"Pity Pets" consists of digital illustrations brought to life using FireAlpaca and a Wacom Drawing Tablet. These creations draw inspiration from the artistic style of Gig Keane, a notable artist of the 1960s. My first encounter with Keane's art took place at the age of 5, in my Aunt's living room. It was there that I saw a print of her illustration portraying a sorrowful orange cat which made me cry wishing I could adopt it, while admiring the beauty of the image.

“Cyber Girl”

"Cyber Girl" consists of two digital illustrations brought to life using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and a Wacom Drawing Tablet. Both artworks embrace a blend of dark, girly vibes within a textured medium. The first piece draws inspiration from "Totally Spies" and "Hello Kitty", while the second artwork takes cues from a Skyrim Downguard”, particularly the Death Hound Dog. My style for these pieces combines cute despair with glamour.
